Hunters Point Research Technologies, Inc. (HPR Tech) is a mission-driven corporation founded in July 2025 in New York, NY.

HPR Tech envisions a world where social science research is instantly translated into everyday solutions, empowering individuals, improving institutions, and strengthening society. We strive for an education system and a society where evidence, not guesswork, guides decisions. When that happens, every learner benefits from what research shows works best.

Our Mission

The mission of HPR Tech is to equip K–12 educators with Eddie, a personal teaching assistant that saves time by translating rigorous social science evidence into practical, trustworthy recommendations and high-quality instructional materials, improving academic, behavioral, and social outcomes for students and schools.

Our Team

David Blumenthal, M.S.

Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer

David has over 15 years of experience in research and evaluation, with a focus on education and workforce development. During this time, he has visited dozens of states, more than 100 schools, and hundreds of classrooms. He also has experience leading teams and tasks to generate evidence and disseminate evidence-based practices to practitioners. David holds a Masters of Science from the School of Public Service at DePaul University, where he graduated with Distinction, and a Bachelor of Arts from Duke University with a major in Public Policy Studies.
